About us
Palestine Basketball Federation (PBF) is the governing body for the sport of basketball in Palestine.
PBF is responsible for the selection and training of Palestinian national teams, and for organizing and regulating development programs that address grassroots, referees, statisticians, youth, and coaches.
Founded in 1963 , PBF is an affiliate of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), FIBA Asia and the Arab Basketball Confederation, and incorporated under Palestine Olympic Committee.

Authorized Basketball Coaches
The Federation
The federation represent the basketball family in Palestine including the following active and engaged elements:
- The President: Mr. Ibrahim Habash
- Members: Twelve members.
- Players: There are currently over 400 Palestinian basketball players competing across the different leagues.
- Teams: There are currently 40 Basketball clubs in the West Bank and Gaza strip registered with the PBF.
- Referees: There are currently 60+ authorized basketball referees between in Palestine.
- Coaches: There are currently 70+ authorized basketball coaches between in Palestine
- Media and Fans.
- Partners and Sponsors.
