Hebron - The Federation's Media Department - The Palestinian Basketball Federation concluded, on Thursday, the activities of the basic course in arbitration and training for basketball, which was held in cooperation with Hebron University, with the participation of 55 male and female students and hosted by Hebron University - the building and auditorium of activities - and lasted for two days and included many activities related to arbitration and training and concluded with a lecture on the basics of arbitration and game management presented by the referee and basketball lecturer Bassam Abu Thabet from the Federation.
At the end of the course, the representative of the Palestinian Olympic Committee, Firas Dudin, praised the efforts of the Palestinian Basketball Federation in organizing such qualitative courses that aim to promote Palestinian sports. He stressed the importance of empowering young people with arbitration and training skills, and the role of sports in building an aware and cohesive society. He also called for the continuation of such initiatives that contribute to the development of Palestinian sports and the dissemination of its culture among young generations.
The Palestinian Basketball Federation expressed its thanks and appreciation to Hebron University for its support and provision of all facilities to ensure the success of the course, stressing the importance of continuing these partnerships to organize future courses aimed at spreading the culture of basketball and developing sports cadres.
Participation certificates were distributed at the end of the course to the participants, in the presence of Dr. Munir Al-Talahma, Head of the Department of Physical Education, Dr. Salah Al-Zaro, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Hebron University, Bilal Al-Jabri, Director of the Hebron Municipality Hall, along with Firas Dudin, Coach Wassim Misk, and Referee Bassam Abu Thabet, representatives of the Palestinian Basketball Federation.
